Why I like to cleanse my home with incense

Ceramic incense holder by Moshi Moshi, minimalist handmade shape, smooth ceramic texture, neutral interior accent.

Every now and then, I feel the need to reset the energy in my home.

Not in a dramatic way.
Just… clearing the air a little.

Our spaces hold a lot more than we think.

Stress, emotions, busy days, conversations, everything that happens within these walls — it lingers.

And sometimes you can feel it.

Burning incense for me is a simple way to shift that.

To slow down, open a window, let the air move, and gently “clean” not just physically, but energetically too.

It’s not about doing it perfectly.

It’s about creating a small moment where your home feels softer, calmer, more like a place you actually want to be in.

I usually do it when things start to feel a bit heavy, or just after a long day.

A small ritual, nothing more.

But it makes a difference.
